Know the loud places
Traffic, power tools, concerts and crowded restaurants are all loud. You do not need to avoid them. Just notice them, and plan a quiet period afterwards.
Turn the volume down a notch
A good rule for headphones is the 60-60 idea: no more than about 60 percent volume for about 60 minutes at a time. If someone next to you can hear your music clearly, it is probably too loud.
Take real quiet breaks
Give yourself five minutes of low sound after a noisy stretch. Sit in a calm room, close the door and breathe slowly. This also helps a busy mind settle.

Approximate decibel (dB) levels of everyday sounds. Lower is gentler on the ears.
Support the whole system
Hearing wellness is more than the ears. Food, sleep, movement and calm all play a part. A daily supplement such as VidaCalm is meant to sit beside those habits, not replace them. Nutrients like magnesium and B vitamins are part of normal nerve health.
Book regular check-ups
If you notice any change in how you hear, talk to a doctor or hearing professional. A yearly check is a good habit for adults, just like an eye test.
